Open House - Thursday April 25th!
We are very excited to open our doors to the community on Thursday April 25th! We have a lot to both showcase and be proud of as Excelsior Falcons and are looking forward to the opportunity to share it with our new students and families.
All families are welcome to join our Vice Principal (Tanya Voqui) and myself in our Main Quad/outdoor amphitheater for a short welcome address at 6:00 pm. Classrooms on our campus will be open from 6:00 - 7:00 pm with some of our 7/8th grade teachers pairing together so that families can chat with their student's current teacher as well as find out a little bit about their teacher next year.
Our spring musical production of Annie
will run a 4:00 pm matinee on Thursday, April 25th. The play runs just shy of 2 hours so families will still be able to visit classrooms and meet our staff after the play concludes. Tickets are on sale anow and you can buy your tickets at our VPAC ticketing site:
Our Girls 7th and 8th grade Volleyball teams are taking on Knightsen in our gym on Thursday. Our 8th grade game starts at approximately 5:00 pm and we are welcoming our new students and their families to the game (free of charge). The game should be over at approximately 6:00 pm which will provide plenty of time for families to visit our classrooms and meet our staff.
Our Jazz Band will play a short set on our outdoor amphitheater stage at approximately 6:30 pm.
Food trucks will be on our campus from 5:00-7:00 pm in the 7th grade loop by our main office! Please come out and help support local businesses by purchasing items from their trucks. The food trucks that will be on campus are: Taquiza Limon, Riko Burger Barbeque, and Callahans.
We will send an additional email with a map of the campus including which rooms are open during Open House. Copies of the map will also be available on during the welcome address in the quad.
