Enrollment for TK or Kindergarten students new to the district for the 2025-2026 school year begins on
January 10, 2025
New TK and Kindergarten Enrollment
Byron Union School District is excited to welcome you to the start of your student's educational career as a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten (K) student.
Note: Parents of current Byron USD TK students do not need to complete a new enrollment for Kindergarten.
Age Requirements:
Transitional Kindergarten:
If your child turns five years of age on or between September 2, 2025, to September 1, 2026 (born on or between Sept. 2, 2020, and Sept. 1, 2021), you may only enroll in the TK program.
Kindergarten:
Children who turn five years of age on or before September 1, 2025 (born on or before Sept. 1, 2020) are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten only.
What You'll Need
Before you begin, gather the following documents. You will be asked to upload them during the online enrollment process.
Two different forms of proof of address - Proof of Residency Requirements
Birth record, birth certificate, baptism certificate, or passport
Parent ID or Driver's License
Current immunization record: Required Immunizations | Vacunaciones requeridos

Enrolling is a 3 Step Process:
Find your Resident School.
In the interactive SchoolSite Locator you will enter an address in the search box to identify your student's school of attendance!
Notice of Intent to Enroll:
Contact your school of residence to notify the School of your intent to Enroll your new TK or Kinder Student.
Contact information for each school can be at the top of this page.
The School will also provide you with additional information and instructions once you have completed online enrollment, Step 3.
Online Enrollment:
To do this, you will need an email account, an Aeries Online Enrollment Portal account (this is set up during online enrollment), and the required documents ready to upload.

2. To Get Started click the “Enroll a New Student” button at the bottom of the page.
3. Read directions on all screens as there is important information provided to ensure a smooth enrollment for your student.
4. Upload Required Documents
If you are not able to upload the documents, there will be an opportunity to bring the documents to your School of Residence during Registration on February 26th. Please contact the school office for appointment information.
5. When you have completed the application and provided all the information required, please be sure to click the finish and submit button. The school's office manager will automatically receive your child's new enrollment information.
Note: A fully completed, submitted enrollment holds a placement for your child in a class. Incomplete enrollment shows your intent to enroll but does not hold a placement for your child in a class.
